Phone Consultations for Resolving Dog Behavior Problems Local House Calls for Behavior and Training Problems
Dogs and Folks Behavior Consulting Ideally, our dogs provide us with easy companionship. Sometimes, though, this is not the case. Problem behavior can be frustrating, concerning, even frightening. At Dogs and Folks a qualified professional will take the time to listen to your concerns, ask the right questions for a better understanding of your dog, and provide a behavior modification program tailored to your unique situation. At Dogs and Folks our work is based on the scientific understanding of animal behavior and learning, understanding species specific behavior, and years of experience working with dogs.
Overview of Dog Behavior Problems Solutions are available for most dog behavior problems including shy, fearful or phobic behavior; growling, threatening or aggressive behavior; destructive behavior like chewing or digging; house-soiling and other elimination problems, repetitive behavior such as excessive licking or spinning; anxiety or nervousness; separation anxiety and other separation related problems; escaping, and excessive vocalization. All behavior problems will be considered, from the simplest to the most complex.
A problem behavior is any behavior you are concerned about, or would like to see changed in your dog.

Resolving the Problems
Phone Consultations Phone consultations are a uniquely effective approach to working with dog behavior problems. Rather than spending hours reading through conflicting, unclear, or potentially ineffective advice, these sessions are tailored to you and your dog's individual situation. Phone consultations provide an opportunity to get a better understanding of your dog's problematic behavior and how best to resolve it. Learn about Rates and Scheduling for phone consultations.
House Calls Dog behavior consultations, and dog training focused on preventing and resolving dog behavior problems, are available, in your home, for most of Siskiyou County, California, and Ashland, Oregon. House calls provide the opportunity to observe your dog in his or her surroundings. We will discuss your dog's behavior in as much detail as necessary so that the most effective behavior modification plan, or training program, can be developed to help you with your dog.
