                                                             Service Agreement

Professional Fees:
Professional fees shall be billed at $80.00 for the first hour, $20.00 per quarter hour thereafter.  One consultation may be divided into two sessions.  Fees are due before the consultation unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties.  No refunds will be given once a consultation has been purchased.   Forty-eight hours notice is usually required to reschedule a consultation.  Client will be responsible for all phone fees.

Description of Services:
I understand that Consultant will work with me via phone or email to impart contemporary animal behavior knowledge that best fits our needs, and that successful companion pet programs depend on a combination of learned skill on the part of the pet and owner.  Behavior is not static; an animal will not continue to perform new behaviors without ongoing practice.  Especially in cases involving any type of aggression, although behavior may be modified, the dog is never considered "cured."  A pet's behavior is ultimately the owner's responsibility.  Consultant will make every reasonable effort to help attain goals but makes no guarantees of performance on the part of Client or pet as a result of providing professional animal behavior consultation.

Client acknowledges that behavior modification may be an activity in which damage or injury to the dog(s) and/or persons may occur.  Client will assume full financial/moral responsibility for the actions of their dog(s).  Client further acknowledges that dog(s) may be exposed to a variety of environmental conditions which include, but are not limited to, vehicular travel, interaction with people and other animals, exposure to adverse weather, and exposure to areas with crowds and all types of traffic.

I/We Client agree that I, my/our/ heirs, assignees, and legal representatives, will not make claim against, sue, or attach the property of Consultant, her family, acquaintances, or any other person acting on her behalf (herein referred to as "her Agents") for injury or damage done to or by dog(s) resulting from action or negligence, however caused by Consultant or Her Agents.  I/We Client forever release Consultant and/or Her Agents from any and all liability and demands which I/We Client and my/our heirs, assignees and legal representatives may have or may hereafter have for injury or damage to or by dog(s), and assume all risk thereof.

Client and Consultant hereby agree to mediate and/or arbitrate any misunderstanding that may arise pursuant to the terms contained herein.  In any action or proceedings arising out of this agreement the prevailing party shall be entitled to reimbursement of costs and legal fees.

This Contract for Dog Behavior consulting Services supersedes all other agreements, written or oral, previously made between Client and Consultant.

I/We Client agree to the terms and conditions of this Service Agreement.

Cassie the Puppy Mom.  We fostered Cassie and her litter from Animal Care and
Control when the litter was 4 days old.  Puppy Bernard found a home with us,
Amelia is now Mary Alice in Fort Jones, Oliver is Blaze and Ikey is Kane, both
in Mount Shasta, all having gone to wonderful homes.   Cassie went to Dogs
for the Deaf to train as a Service Dog.  I hope Tina and Berriessa fared as well
as everyone else!  Our walls and carpeting will never be the same.
